I just submitted my proposal to speak at WordCamp San Francisco this year:
Unit testing can be difficult, slow, and it often seems that the benefits are not worth the effort. I want to show you otherwise. With the support of TechCrunch leadership, the TechCrunch dev team and I were able to make tests an important part of our process. This gave us plenty of statistical data demonstrating the value of unit testing. I’ll discuss the benefits we have experienced from testing our code and share how we’ve gotten the most out of our tests along our continuing path of integrating tests into our workflow.
If you’re going and would like to hear me give that talk, let the organizers know today by filling out the speaker nomination form.
